BIG WIN FOR UNITED HAS THEY OVERTURN ANOTHER DEFEAT

Manchester United returned to winning ways from away matches by defeating Omonia 3-2 in a Europa League on Thursday night at the GSP Stadium in Cyprus.

Despite being clearly the better team, United was wasteful in the first half, the hosts took the lead after 34 minutes in Cyprus on Thursday when a quick counter-attack ended with Karim Ansarifard rifling into the roof of the net.

United much improved after the break by the changes for the second half, the substitutions had the desired impact, with Rashford scoring twice and Martial once.

Marcus Rashford helped himself to a double on either side of a Martial strike to give the Red Devils all three points.

Manchester United forward, Cristiano Ronaldo also reacted to his side’s Europa League 3-2 win, in a post via his Instagram account after the game, Ronaldo expressed happiness following Man United’s win over Omonia.

Ronaldo looked desperate to impress but his 700th career goal evaded him on a frustrating night, culminating in a jaw-dropping miss that hit the post despite the goal gaping from six yards out.

The Portugal captain hailed his teammates and thanked Man United fans for their support away from home
