ANOTHER WINLESS NIGHT FOR PSG

ANOTHER WINLESS NIGHT FOR PSG

As the UEFA league continues, Benfica pushes PSG to a draw on Wednesday night, the penalty awarded to PSG at 37minute give the home team a lead when the VAR denies a potential penalty to the away team at 17minute into the game.

SL Benfica go more on the high press in the second half when a second penalty of the match was awarded in the 60th minute, but this time it was for the away side as Rafa Silva was caught in the area by Marco Verratti, Joao Mario stepped up and slotted past Gianluigi Donnarumma to level matters at the Parc de Princes with just under 30 minutes to go.

The game was played at a slightly simmered pace from thereon and the two teams settled for a draw. Mbappe did score a second but that was ruled offside. The two remain locked at eight points from four games and have played two consecutive draws in two weeks. They are prime contenders to make it to the last 16 with Juventus and Maccabi Haifa on three points each.

The two teams remain unbeaten in the Champion league this session.
